A Journey To Joy

What does Joy meant to you? It is a feeling of great pleasure or happiness? Is it that irresistible, insatiable desire to jump up and yell to the world how content you are in your life at this very moment? Is it a passion or an emotion excited by the expectation of something good about to happen? YES……it is all of these above things for me!!!!

Joy is defined in the dictionary as a state of happiness or felicity, a source of pleasure or delight. Do you feel Joy at this very moment?

Joy promotes the emotions of love, happiness and confidence. It helps us release emotional blocks of love, self-love and sharing love. It also helps us release grief and sorrow that is stored in the heart and lungs according to Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Joy is something I am learning to lean into daily. When we allow ourselves to start to learn or lean into a desired feeling…….a whole new world begins to open up for us…………….a lot like a light shining brighter than it ever has before………….almost an awakening. The desire to find joy lives inside of all of us…………………………joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things can feel.

A wise person once told me….if there is an essential oil aroma/scent that you DO NOT like…..that is the one you should be using!!!! It has taken me a few years to lean into the thought process of using Joy to create a magnetic field around me to bring happiness to my day. This little bottle of happiness is quickly becoming one of my favourites at the moment. (My Favourites Change At Times)

I can recall the very first time I smelled this oil………the scent was almost a putrid sweet smell to me, looking back at it now, we were in a very dark state…………grief, sadness, sorrow, judgement………….and at the time this essential oil was not the one I was wanting to use. With that being said, things have changed and I am completing embracing “what it feels like to be joyful, finding happiness in the daily”.

Every morning I arise and apply this inspiring floral scent of Joy Essential Oil to my body. I like to apply it diluted with a carrier oil such as V6 Complex Oil, Coconut Oil. Jojoba oil, etc. I apply it over my heart and on my wrists to invoke the feelings of love (self and others), happiness, inspiration and delight!!! It is also fantastic applied behind the ear lobe as well!!!!

Joy Essential Oil has a unique and lovely scent, some essential oils such as Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, and Rose combine to make the perfect floral and citrusy aroma. Many of these oils in this blend have a rich history: Bergamot is rumored to have been taken to Italy by way of the Canary Islands by Christopher Columbus. Rose has been praised for its fragrance and other qualities since Ancient Greek and Roman times. With such powerful oils, it’s no surprise that Joy is a favourite among many.

Joy Essential Oil has brought me from a state of being close eyed to being bright eyed. When we don’t go within, we go without. Learning to love yourself is the day you decide your good enough for you. The most important day is the day you set yourself free.

Joy Essential Oil helped me do just that!!!
